Balmain has officially confirmed that they are working on a diffusion line called Pierre Balmain, named after the design house's founder.

An official launch presentation for Pierre Belmain is predicted to occur during NY Fashion Week this upcoming September.

A spokesperson has confirmed that this new line "will be younger" and it is also anticipated that it will have more realistic and affordable price points...which may be the greatest news ever...

this gives me another reason i cannot wait for NY Fashion Week.
